Khmer Software Documentations

Currently KhmerOS also produced materials of Khmer Software as ducuments for students and trainers handing to read and now available at KhmerOS Office, Website, and CDs installer for free copying and distributing. For Windows we had had a Self user manual of OpenOffice (Writer, Calc, Impress) with 438 pages, Slides, Lessons and Exercise documentations also both for students and trainers, and for Linux SuSe10.1 in Khmer, we had just finished Slides documentation for training of Basic Linux SuSe10.1, applications and more advance of Linux administration. Other Linux documents are being created.

KhmerOS at the fair in Chenla from 9-10 June 2006

The KhmerOS initiative produces free high-quality computer programs in Khmer language for all types of users.These programs can be used and distributed by anybody in both Windows and Linux platforms.

Most of KhmerOS staffs was very happy to take a photo infront of KOS store in Chenla during the fair.


Over 300 CDs of Khmer Software for Windows and CDs Linux SuSe10.1 were free provided at the fair, if someone can answer the easy questions about Khmer Software and then take a lucky draw for the prizes of T-shirt, CDs Khmer Softs, Khmer Unicode Standard Keyboards.

Khmer Software CDs Installer

KhmerOS has free provided CDs Khmer Software Installer for Windows and Linux to many people in Cambodia since 2005. Over 4000 CDs of Khmer Software installer (2500 CDs are color printed CDs and the other are normal CDs) has been provided and over 60 sets of CDs Linux Suse 10.1 (1 set has 6 CDs installer) has also beenprovided. Currently they’ve also been continuing their activities for promotion, installation, and training of Khmer Software in all provinces and cities of Cambodia.
